What am I going to do with my life? I have no idea, but the chances of making money doing it are pretty slim. But I'm determine to enjoy it--what ever it ends up being.
Neil Gaiman gave the Commencement Address at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia this year and it is a pretty great speech.
"Now go and make interesting mistakes, make amazing mistakes , make glorious and fantastic mistakes. Break Rules. Leave the world more interesting for your being here. Make Good Art."-Neil Gaiman
I've never been completely confident that I could make good art--or that I should--but Gaiman has a way of making me want to try. I know, I know 'there is no try'! It's just a matter of doing.
